As the Communications and Engagement Officer, Zac is committed to building stronger relationships with Contour's stakeholders. While as a Project Support Officer (PSO), he is committed to supporting the Government confidently implement emerging and disruptive technology.


About Zac

Zac is a dedicated Engagement Officer, assisting with Contour's External and Internal Engagement Strategies. His academic and work experience provides him with the tools and knowledge to help build an organisation that supports the Government confidently implement emerging and disruptive technology. Zac recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from the University of Canberra. His studies focussed on Entrepreneurship, business development and sport management. During his studies, he was an intern with an organisation that assisted small-medium enterprises with their marketing and business development. Zac also undertook an international exchange program at George Mason University in the United States, where he worked in marketing and operations for a Division 1 Sports Program.


Zac recently arrived at Contour from the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) as a Project Officer in the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) team. He played a key role in the implementation of several IT Initiatives. While working at DESE, he completed the ‘Project Management for Professionals’ course at RMIT. His studies and work experience to date have allowed him to build analytical, time-management, administrative, communication and relationship skills necessary to become a great Project Support Officer, and future Project Manager.

What is his Project of Passion?

His current Project of Passion is to identify how Contour can partner with universities and other academic institutions, to provide the opportunities and development for the next generation of workforce in the STEM and Defence industries.


What does he like to do outside of work?

When Zac is not working, he enjoys playing and watching sports. His childhood AFL team is the Sydney Swans. So, you know he is in a good mood it is because they won that weekend. He also enjoys watching the George Mason Women’s Basketball team and the Canberra Capitals, organisations that he worked for. Zac also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and when possible, enjoys travelling.
